• The Story •
JHMJLL's COO Justin Lee contracted the gang at Jimijon to help them build their flagship product: Now Find Gluten Free, an app to help shoppers find and identify gluten-free food products in their local stores.
Application UI: My first task was to create a flowchart graphic of the preliminary application architecture to help the development team visualize the end product. Then, after an interview with the client and some competitor research, I designed a set of mockups of all the screens in the app.
Once the design was approved I generated the necessary art assets, including an application icon based on the company logo and several custom menu icons. And as part of the development process, I imported and organized the art in Xcode, and formatted and applied proper constraints to the storyboards.
Marketing Materials: Justin also asked me to assist with marketing. My first task was to help strengthen and simplify the existing logos. We then worked together to create web banners and print ads for trade magazines and websites: We discussed some ideas, JHMJLL provided me with rough copy, I did some rewriting and executed the designs. The process was quick and painless.
